Bridge and Terry to get England start

Wayne Bridge is getting a start with England this weekend. At least that is the latest rumour.

Our fabulous left back is rumoured to be getting a start with England on Saturday against Argentina due to injury woes for Ashley Cole and Jamie Carragher (neither of whom are as good as Bridgey anyway). After not getting much of a look in thus far since his return from injury, no doubt Bridge will be looking forward to the opportunity.

Also looking forward to Saturday is John Terry - seems Sven has chosen to go with Terry and Rio Ferdinand at centre back instead of his old stand by pairing of Sol Campbell and Ferdinand. Good news for Terry.

And good news for England as well. Despite recent murmurs of a drop in form, Terry is still the strongest centre back in Europe and Hernan Crespo and his Argentine buddies will have a hard time getting through the Chelsea skipper.

Joining Terry and Bridge on the starting line from Chelsea are Lampard and Joe Cole; don't be surprised to see SWP make an appearance either.

Robben is said to be missing his Holland match this weekend due to the hamstring injury that has kept him out of club matches for Chelsea.

If nothing else, that will put to bed the belief that Robben gives more to his International team mates than his club.

Good luck to Bridge - it will be great to see him in the starting line again, back where he belongs for England.
Our Verdict: Best of luck Blues
