Chelsea plays their third match of the Premier League season on Sunday, facing Liverpool away.
With injury woes recently plaguing the Blues, there is some comfort in knowing that Captain John Terry will start in Anfield. But will he be playing without his longstanding centre-back partner Ricardo Carvalho?
The likely answer is yes. Carvalho is rumoured to be out for at least another week.
However, Makelele and Essien are both expected to make an appearance against Liverpool, although perhaps not for the entire 90 minutes.
This is good news indeed -- the presence of either one of these boys means that Lamps may be freed up to make some runs through the middle rather than sitting deep.
Add this potential to the incredible performance shown thus far by Malouda, Kalou and SWP and the excitement grows as thoughts of intelligent accurate and piercing crosses into the box for Drogba dance in our heads!
So... who do we think will start on Sunday? Here is our predicted Starting XI:
Cech
Fereira - Ben Haim - Terry - A. Cole
Makelele
SWP - Lampard - Malouda
Drogba - Kalou
Bench: Cudiccini, Johnson, Essien, Sidwell, Pizarro
Our Verdict: A fast start and solid finish
